    By being so much faster, it gives the Mac Series a much greater edge. I think that there laptops are all reliable, and in my oppinion, the best in the market.

    The new Macbook pro is twice as fast as the old version, and now the built-in cameras are run on a new type of port which creates faster and cleared pictures and video chat.

    The newest apple macbook pro computers have an edge over the competition due to two distinct apple features. First is the speed of the processors as they approach 3.5ghz which matches or surpasses all other laptops of its kind. Another advantage is the operating system which is exclusive to apple and can support the speed of the processors and all the changes apple develops. Apple's ability to create unique products that surpass expectations is well known and their reputability increases their sucess.

    The MacBook Pro laptops get a speed boost from faster Intel processors, which can reach turbo boost speeds of 3.4 gigahertz which means the computers can complete 3.4 billion calculations per second. Apple is using the "fastest dual-core processor available." The camera is better quality for hours of facetime

    I believe that the edge it has on other computers is the speed. It can complete 3.4 billion calculations per second. Also it has new technologies like bulit in cameras and video cameras. With the combination of speed and new technologies it pushes it ahead of all other computers.

    It seemes to be the fastest dual-core processor available. The laptops are also the first computers to feature Intel and Apple's thunderbolt technology which is a new way to connect cameras.

    I think that it will be alot better and faster then other computers.It can complete 3.4 billion calculations per second and can reach speeds of 3.4 gigahertz.

    I think that this product will be the next big thing on the marke. Technogoly like this accels above anything right now. And for those who believe that the Ipad 2 will surpass this, I may agree. But, with a laptop that boots up instantly, it will be hard to beat. The MacBook Pro is "The Fastest Dual-Processor available". My thoughts for the commentors of the visual quality of the camera is that it a sufficient camera should cost as much as the laptop. If you pay that much for it, it has to be good.

    Mac Pros' the edge in the technology world because it is much faster then other laptops out there now. The so called super computer is, twice as fast at processing data and three times as fast at rendering images. It also has facetime, Apples version of skype which alows people to stay connected easier.

    In my opinion, there are so many new computers that will do almost everything you need it to this is just another spiel to get people to buy the new and latest computers. if you ask me this is a waste of your cold hard cash because in a couple of months they'll have even more up to date laptops.

    the new macbook pro is much faster and has a better resolution. It has an edge on the technology world because of this, and if I had 2000 dollars, I would definately buy one!

    The new mac pros have amazing speed, and great graphics. That is whats giving them edge and they sell better because of it. If i had the money i would definitly buy the newest version. They are reliable and easy to use.

    The macbook computers are featuring thunderbolt technology and i believe that is what is giving the edge to the new computers. The speed is great too. Apple has created the new macbook computers to complete 3.4 billion calculations per second. There are built in cameras and video cameras used for facetime. All of these cool features give it the edge it needs to make it in the technology world.

    They have the edge because they have the money to spend. No other company besides Microsoft can risk money on what might end up being unsuccessful so other companies efefctively are limited in their ability to develop unique technology, they simply develop what they know will be successful by copying the designs of other companies.
    Because of this Mac and Microsoft have the edge because other companies are forced to do things after them, also when they release a product they can start on their next project while other companies are simply copying what theyve already done so they have a head start on developing new technology.

    This allows them to take more time to develop better software and hardware such as the faster processors and ports these computers have. They still finish first giving them a temporary monopoly on the market for items of that type so people are forced to buy that product or wait, if they do buy the product then Mac gets the money it needs to continue making great innovative products.

    This computer is better because its faster and more up to date. It alowes people to vidoe chat with friends who have an ipad or ipod touch. They also are smaller in size.

    The macbook pros have been adapted to operate at higher speeds and thus, are more desireable than a slower model. With added functions such as face time via two sources, the mac is a step ahead of the competition.

    I love this! It's a really cool idea to video chat with people from your iphone or itouch on your mac. This is a major upgrade from the last model.
