This is a really good idea:) especially since everyone likes to play them. It would be cool to see how much video games have changed through the years.
I think that video games should be apart of the Smithsonian because it would be interesting to see the types of video games and the impact different ones have on people. It would also be cool to see the graphics and technology behind the making of video games.

I think that adding a video game exhibit to the museums would be a smart idea. Everyone of all ages enjoys playing video games and could benefit from this exhibit. Having this exhibit would show how video games were created and how they evolved to what they now are today. i think i would be interesting for young people especially young boys to learn about what they are playing.
I think some Video Games should be exhibited as some video games definintly do count as art. Some video games tell intricate stories to rival the best movies and are art in my opinion while other games are just senselessly violent and are no more an art form than your average gruesome horror movie.
Our society has moved into an era of technology, and art has progressed as well. Computer design provides some of the most spectacular visual displays. Thus, the graphic art found in video games is in fact an artistic piece and would be suitable for the Smithsonian.
