I think the invention that had the greatest impact was the transistor. This allowed electronics to grow exponentially from radios and tvs to computers and cellphones.
at first i thought it was a pretty stupid idea, but once i thought about it more i reaslized that its a great idea and a good invention just not very pratical
It's really cool to see all these inventions/inventors. Usuasly you learn about extremely important stuff that is used by everybody such as the computer or the airplane but its nice to learn about the little things too because they also matter.
The invention that I think had the most impact was the horse lantern because, back then, they didn't have headlights or cars. This allowed the horses and horsemen to see what was coming from ahead so that two they wouldn't run into anyone.

I think that the simplest invention, the compound rock-tied-to-a-stick was the best because it was the first invention that Homo-sapians created that set the template for countless other, more complex designs. Without the beginning we would have died out...
I believe the light bulb had the greatest impact on society also. The light bulb was not only the first form of electricity but it became widely used because it was more convient than lighting a fire or lantern.
The light bulb in my opinon is the invention that impact society most because being able to walk in to a room without tripping over items is realy nice.
